Malte has been in the shipping industry for more than 12 years already and started his career as apprentice to become a shipping clerk at Mibau Stema Group. During his apprenticeship he gained experience in working and living abroad in London, Singapore, Manila and Melbourne.
Malte completed his apprenticeship successfully at Bertling where he gained a deeper insight into the chartering business. In 2012 Malte moved to Shanghai, where he worked at Bertling Shanghai for four years. During this time, Malte played a key role in running and successfully expanding the bulk desk for Bertling China and growing the chartering business for Bertling within China and other Asian countries. In 2016 Malte was asked to move back to Hamburg to strengthen the local chartering team. One year later, he took over the lead of Bertling’s bulk division in Hamburg, became a partner and has since then been instrumental in growing and maintaining key client relationships in Hamburg and beyond.

Hamid launched into the shipping world in 2001 at well reputed Shipowner F.H. Bertling, where he graduated as shipping merchant and stayed for several years to gain experience. Thereafter he moved to Shipbrokers Stehn & Co where he enjoyed a challenge as a competitive/exclusive broker for almost 5 years. He then decided to follow his heart and “change side” again towards the ship owning division and thus took a position as Chartering Manager at Aug. Bolten for 5 years.
In 2015 he was hired by the Nordic Hamburg Group where he was leading the Chartering and Operations Team. He became the General Manager for FastNet Chartering & Services in 2018, a Commercial Manager successfully acting on behalf of several international SPCs in the dry bulk segment controlled in Norway, the USA, China, UK and Germany.

Benedikt has been in the shipping industry since 2008. He started his career on board of an offshore supply vessel to gain hands-on expertise in shipping operations. Moving ashore, Benedikt commenced his apprenticeship at Komrowski Hamburg in 2009, a family owned dry bulk/container owner and dry bulk operator.
Upon completion of his apprenticeship in 2011 he joined Howe Robinson as a dry cargo broker in Hamburg, moving in 2014 to Singapore with the same firm. Gaining in-depth experience across both the owner side and the cargo side Benedikt was able to firmly understand what it takes to work equally as a shipowner and a charterer. In 2016, capitalising on this experience he was hired by Oskar Wehr to manage their Singapore office. Benedikt now has built a strong team and presence in the Asia region and will continue to do so as OneBulk continues to grow.
